Brief
This involves a meeting with the client on site to discuss their ideas, needs and desires for the garden which provides a brief to steer the design process in a particular direction.
Survey
At this stage the site is surveyed, levels are ascertained and all measurements are taken and permanent on - site elements are recorded. This brief and survey form the basis for all the design work.
Concepts
From the brief and client meeting, initial design ideas are sketched and developed to form the basis for the finished design.
Detailed Plan
After more discussion and further development of the design, final scaled drawings are produced. These drawings will be used to cost the project
Construction
Once costs have been agreed, we finalise the various materials to be used in the execution. At this stage, we also refine the plant selection - which varieties to select and what maturity level to use. On - site works can start at this stage.
To achieve what the client wants, regular updates and discussion are normal throughout the progress of each project. We encourage clients to reserve consultation time over the construction period.
